It depends on mood...

Mobb Deep,Nas, and Wu-Tang are the recipes for these NY Winters:banderas:

Sometimes when im in a relaxed mood, i'll put some Rakim or some other golden era albums i havent gotten around to listening to..

But the problem is thats been happening rarely...

My ultra hip hop underground stage is over...I missed out on a lot:wow:

really tho

Music is subjective, that's it end of story. If you don't enjoy listening to nas or big or whomever anymore, move on. Don't throw shade at brehs who still love the old stuff. And if you don't fukk w new age hip hop, that doesn't mean you're a dusty old head, it means you don't like the new shyt. Pretty simple.

Me and my boys were listening to cash money rappers during the height of N.Y. rap in the 90s..no limit minus mystikal was garbage but we appreciated quality. Trap is not quality and young thug reeks of homosexuality..

Im like most of you, I grew up on the golden era of rap. I'm a New Yorker, I would shun trap for not having enough metaphors and multi's. My top 5 in no order was once the cliche Pac, Big, Nas, Jay, and Rakim. Then it dawned on me, outside of Jay I didn't even enjoy listening to these rappers.:mjlol:

They are good lyrically, but they weren't even fun to listen to.

After years of not even giving trap and hood shyt a chance and throwing it in the bushes one day in 2006 I heard the chicken talk by Guwop and ever since then rap is fun.

:mjlol: @ you dusty 8ball jacket nikkas not being able to enjoy this fire cuz you don't gotta da Vinci code no metaphors

Being a reformed "real hip hop" fan feels great brehs.:blessed:

So basically you went from faking the funk to keep it re...tarded:russ:

Your first loss was in assuming that you should limit the scope on music. Your second mistake was continuing to do so. You can just listen to everything :mindblown:

What a thought right? Only a corny nikka acts like they can't enjoy lyrical music. Everything has a time and place.
