Breh there's people who work security in NYC and they are able to pay there rent and put food on the table... and this is a city with high COL, imagine living in a rural area being a security guard, if you manage your money right, you'd be straight.

And the Armed guards pay much higher than the regular ones, you gotta take a shooting class though.

I was about to say the same thing. These security guards (especially in these corporate buildings) are making cake out here. Hell I even considered doing it part time at one point for the extra income (that and I have real bad insomnia).

Security aint shyt if you actually play your position. Most of the time the company you work for tells you to not even get involved in altercations unless you absolutely have to. But a lot of security guards be on that tough guy superhero shyt. Those are the ones who get caught up.

If i was working security and some nikkas came through to rob the place? I'm complying. Not my money.

Exactly why I passed on that shyt, same thing with bodyguarding/private security.

Money sounded nice but in the end you can't really pay me enough to be your shield.

Can make a decent living doing security in a corporate environment, easy money too, but being on the door at a club is a no-no..people only see the uniform, plus you're dealing with drunk people..Too easy for someone to sneak up behind you and tap you on the head with a hammer
