They offered Twi at my college I kind of wish I had taken that or Portuguese. I took Spanish insteadglad i know twi(ghana) so i cant get hoodwinked whenever i go back
I wish i knew my moms language tho, but seriously doubt i'll ever learn

Its only cool in America because its normal to speak one. Other places people speak two and three languages.
However when i was in miami, i helped this older family with something in spanish and they didnt bat an eye...everywhere else i get de donde eres? Tu hablas super bien. Miami is an exception when it comes to multiple languages.
But yes it is cool speaking two languages, especially when you look like an average AA male. Nobody expects it.

Not everyone outside the US is multilingual, the vast majority of Asians/Latin Americans are monolingual as well

I met a girl who speaks 4 languages and is studying to be a surgeon. I looked back at all of my relationships with girls of inferior intellect and I thought of how they would go on to express inferiority complexes toward me that would result in a lot of bitterness from them and self-esteem issues, and I here I am with this girl who speaks 4 languages and is going on toward a career that would make any parent proud and I know she's smarter than me in a lot of ways (not overall though, at least in the aspects that matter to me) and I don't feel one bit of inferiority. No self-esteem issue. No "why is she with me". No "I don't deserve her" . . I'm just cool
