None of those guys are anywhere near Pun. They just rap fast
I know you have a bias towards the midwest but you're being silly comparing Tech 9 and Layzie, Krayzie, Bizzy, (I won't even acknowledge Da fukking BRAT and Shawnna, give me a fukking break nikka), Cap One to fukking Big Punisher. That's just downright silly
Now Twista, you can make a good case for, because he's not just rapping fast. He actually is lyrically incredible.

None of the highlighted or nearly as technically good as Pun. 3 of the other 4 are definitely in my top 5 technically skilled. Not sure on Twista but you can make the case he belongs there

Da Brat, youre probably looking at the Funkdafied Brat where she was rappin like Snoop... after she went back to her roots she was an amazing rapper. Shawnna too. Man, all the people I listed. Youre actin like I put Coldheart and Kilo from Crucial Conflict...
I don't have an east coast bias at all. Two of my 5 favorite rappers are from the West Coast. I made a thread not to long ago saying Common's Resurrection is lyrically better than Illmatic. You got the wrong one when it comes to being bias.
And you saying an album is better than CP is personal preference. That's fine. And I'm well aware of Da Brat's catalog, I listen to a lot of music. I didn't say she wasn't good rapper, I said comparing her to Pun is silly and it is. She's not even on the same planet. Shawnna is mediocre at best.
And again, you're just listening people who rap fast. None of these people (aside from Twista) have near the intricate rhyme schemes, metaphors, wordplay, rhyme bending ability that Pun had. None of them are remotely close.

No, if I was just listin nikkaz that rap fast I woulda put Never and Wildstyle too, Belo, NARD, and AK from Do or Die... but I didnt do that.
Admit it, breh, you forgot about a whole area of the country that do what Pun did regularly and in an attempt to fix that you granted Twista who easily surpasses Pun.
