fukk that.

Almost getting records early

Almost dying cause of beef

Not having much good women to be with

The cons heavily outweighs the pros especially when I think of the homies who died in the hood cuz of hood shyt
But for people who emerge out of all of that despite having all those obstacles in front of you successfully is the real blessing , I think that's what OP is trying to say and if so I agree with him .

Man, woman, and child
Not from the hood, but my town was fukked up growing up in the 80s.

I used to flick empty crack vials down the stairs of my building before I ever knew what they were. Moms used to scream at me not to touch that shyt.

Used to play fumble-itis (basically a game where you play tackle football but the goal is to get people to fumble) with my friends in the park with broken glass everywhere.

Family was on welfare for years.

There's more but let's just say we made it.

:wow:
You were from the hood breh :mjcry:

Get on ya grind and get out

You broke or something?

Shiddd..I did 2 fast food jobs and community college then transferred to get out da hood
Im a island man who had to move from my home to the states to be in an area with better jobs. That means going from one place back to square one. It is what it is.

I would agree with that if I didnt see more and more people trying to take the hood with them when they get out.

That's exactly what I am saying

And people think success is only being rich or famous and it's not!

I grew up in every hood in my city at some point in my life, because my family was all around the city and my mom made sure while she worked we had someone to watch over us when we were younger. With that said I'm not a hood nikka, I've seen, done and been in some serious stuff. But at heart I've never been in love with that hood life.

I got strong hood tendencies embedded in me that probably will never go away tho.

No snitching
If it aint involve you, you aint see it
Respect is given but will be tested at some point.
Everyone will take from you if given the chance.
You can die at any given moment.
And a hard head make a soft a$$
