Used to be really good at maths. At some point when you start understanding how shyt works it can get fun as hell. It's like a giant puzzle that keeps getting more complicated but you have these clues and keys you can work with and then you get it right and it's liek a big "Ah ha!" moment. Loved that feeling. It's also basically like a language and at some point it's like you can "read" maths. Don't know how to explain it. Unfortunately I totally abandonned it after university.

If I'm not mistaken in the antiquity etc it was one of the main things with philosophy. As in a way to understand the world and life.

Definitely. A lot of these kids are just human calculators. Not much to em besides that. It’s like a lot of kids who looked like really impressive classical pianists and they play the complex pieces and all that, but you throw a piece of jazz in front of them and they short circuit and can’t do shyt

That being said, a lot of these kids are still human calculatoring their way into high paying stable jobs, and our community could really benefit from that
:russ: I need to learn how to do some calculatoring myself, but I'm probably too old by now.

I’m thankful my mind was able to comprehend statistics.

If I had a deeper grasp on math, I’d definitely get a masters in Computer Vision. shyt is about to be the next goldmine

I have a STEM degree and I'm pretty good at math. But I think the real cheat code is learning how to learn. And I don't just mean active recall and interleaving or whatever popsci nonsense is out there right now. There's levels to this shyt (literally) and if people knew how easy it was to understand, they'd be much better off.

It certainly is. I could have used some remedial intervention around 5th or 6th grade because it was rough. I've gotten by without it (I have other talents and skills), but my life could have been really different.:francis:
