It makes no sense to even consider that line of thinking simply because from a nature point of view that would mean 1/2 the population would come out gay under that reasoning. The next generation, another 1/2 would be gay and eventually you have diminishing returns where the human population is extinct. I dont know the numbers but I can assure you that homos make up a very small percentage of the population. The human race could not exist if otherswise, hence not normal.
How would that mean 1/2 the population is gay? Identical twin studies are always used in psychology to determine whether something has a biological or environmental cause. All the study means is that genes took part more than half the time when determining sexual orientation.

You said that sexual orientation is determined in the subconcious. Then that would mean for it to be normal, it would be 50/50 that one is straight or gay. Same reason why there are essentially the same amount of males and females in this world. Numbers don't lie.
In reality 95% of people are born straight if you want to take that reasoning. 1-5% of the population gay is not normal and that means sexual orientation cannot be formed in the subconcious.
No I said the study blew my opinion out of the water meaning that sexual orientation actually does have a biological beginning not a subconscious one.
