I thought it would suck but its actually quite great.

1. There is less pressure to keep up with the latest fashion and social trends. Plus I'm not around all the petty hood shyt as I was into in my teens and early 20s and have no desire to be. There are still people in their 30's acting up and in comparison my life may seem boring. I'm a square but I have a sense of peace.
2. I worked hard in my 20s so I'm pretty much established in my career to the point where I am not struggling financially. I am not rich by any metric but live comfortably.
3. I've been health conscious since I was in my early 20s and can pass for 25 at 35. I never drunk alcohol all that much and mostly stayed away from cigarettes. Admittedly I've always been inconsistent when it comes to exercise but I'm still physically fit enough to be fit and maintain a lean athletic build.

If you're young life does get easier if you play your cards right. Get in a modest amount of exercise weekly. Eat clean (stay away from junk foods). Don't smoke cigarettes and drink liquor. A little weed here and there is perfectly fine. Keep away from hood shyt and petty shyt in general. Get rid of the desire to impress upon people. Too many young brehs ruin their lives because of this. Expand your mind by reading and making a commitment to learn something new everyday. Meditate and clear your mind everyday. And WEAR condoms.

I feel that.

What city are you in? Here in DC the pressure to be superfly is high. I'm 41, women seem to really have high standards of living in their 30s. I can afford it, but I just like modest women, maybe because I'm from Louisiana. I love a woman that can have fun in a hole and a wall.

I'm in my mid 30's I'm a physician make 350K as an Emergency Medicine physician. I work 12 days a month even though I work night shift and it's a tough and expensive to get into. I must reflected how blessed I am. I am going to Europe for the first time I have no debt and I'm saving to buy a house on a 15 year mortgage in the ATL area.

I just finished a 3 day fast and feeling good about to go to LA fitness and chill in Atlantic Station

If you don't have health nothing matters
I'm trying to get more fit I try to get 10k steps a day and lift but I need to do more

Please schedule virtual visits with a doctor to many brehs die so early. You do not want to be on dialysis

my blood pressure is 130/80 (taking amlodipine since its high)
I weigh 226 6'0ft I would suggest using Renpho scales as they tell you good info just height and weight doesn't tell a person anything.

my bmi is 30.6
18% body fat
14.5% sub fat
13 visceral fat (trying to work on this)
85lbs of fat free body weight
Bone mass 9.2lbs
176.2 muscle mass

Get a circle of colleagues so you can do occasional social activities thankfully medicine is a network and I'm going with a group of male doctors.

Your 30's should be great to make your 40's 50's 60's 70's and 100's the best. A rule to follow in life as a mutal fund invester is as your health declines your wealth should be increasing compound intrest makes this a fundimental law of nature.

When you go to the doctor you should always have an end goal in care. Do you want to live to be 100? What health do you want to be in? Do you want to be mobile and be able to make decisions and be as mentally sharp as you are now? Do you want to not get cancer, strokes or heart attacks?

That's what a primary care physician is supposed to do for you.

Do you want to leave a legacy when you pass? You don't have to do this with children but how are you going to give back? Do you have a will or life insurance? For most people having life insurance and your investments will give a much stronger impact.

What index funds are you investing in?

What index funds are you investing in?

Vanguard you own the company so they work in your interest. I invest in the total American Stock market and SP500 and various 3 fund portfolio investment funds. since corporations are unlikely to loose power and will try to grow at all costs you need your money tied to that. Make the richest CEO work for you and every other CEO.

I don't buy individual stocks since it's too risky. I will also invest more into bonds. You shouldn't be doing any riskier investments till you have no debt an emergency fund and a maxed 401k HSA and roth as a rule.

I'm in Michigan. I been to DC a few times for work and could pick up on the culture right away. Yall do have some fine as sisters there though. There's still pressure but it just matters to me less. I've come to realize that a lot of people who're into that high standard of living are barely making it themselves. And yes modest women are hard to come by.
