When i played basketball i wasnt the best player on the team.. but i was good.. i would have hated to be asked 5 questions and 3 about the best player on the team

Especially since Kyrie didn’t come in the league playing with Bron.

His first couple years in he was the franchise player and it was low key.

The team sucked but He could get his buckets and fukk his pawgs In peace. That’s why he extended with no hesitation.

All of a sudden Bron comes back and a circus will always come with him, and you can tell Kyrie never really enjoyed it. Even though the team became championship caliber.

Him and Bron had the most interesting dynamic since Kobe and Shaq.

I hate being asked about other high performers in my department at work. Like I"m supposed to be on their nuts like that. I'll acknowledge that they are good, but not really going to act like they are god's gift to the company.

Nothing will ever top that.

This is why single sports like tennis, golf, formula 1 (to an axtent) is the GOAT from an athete's perspective. No teammate to overshadow you. you get all the credit or blame for winning or losing.

I would hate to burst my ass everyday in the gym and on the court only for my teamate to get all the glory. fukk that. Kyrie had one of the GOAT finals performace in 2016 and made the title clinching shot but guess who get's damn near all the glory and boast to their legacy. lebron. The only thing Robert hurry's cluthness in the playoffs did was boast the legacy of players like Shaq,Kobe, Duncan et al.

If I was a bench player who usually doesn’t get minutes and had a great game and I was asked those questions, I probably wouldn’t mind since I never get interviewed anyways so I’ll take any questions at that point

Now if I was an All Star, but not the main star, who was getting asked those questions, after awhile (like a quarter into the season) I’d probably get tired of it
