There's always video games like Gran Tourism and such


I'm also a transit buff and I enjoy that hobby very much. I'm weird as I'm both a car buff and a transit buff At the very least I can ride the various transit vehicles in my region whenever they are in service, so I get to enjoy that hobby too its full potential at the very least

Not it's not. You can be into old school and new school. Old cars are expensive too and will empty your wallet. Most cars cost money to maintain whether it's for show, track, or cruising. You sound like an old head complaining about all the new technology and how new cars aren't real cars
