What engine are you using? LS?

That's not talking engine swapping, trans swapping, and bigger breaks. I'd have to get another car. You sound knowledgeable so what's your advice as far as getting a newer car for daily and good hp mods?
Original LT engine.

As far as daily with good hp mods, you can slide a cam in any camaro, charger, challenger matched with some ported heads and intake for some serious heat without breaking the bank.

Ok but how many dudes are content with their old slow ass daily? If you're cool saving money with what you have that's great, but some of us need that satisfaction of buying old-school or new school. You can sit there daydreaming, but not the boy down the street:mjlol:

It's like saying you love p*ssy, but content with jacking off:gucci:
You're proving their point :skip:. Many car people are content, happy even with a "slow ass daily". Miatas, S13s, EKs, etc definitely aren't popular for their speed and flashiness. It's about the joy you get out of the machinery.

Being an audiophile is up there too. Buying a $10K dac to go with your $15K tube headphone amp to go with your $5K pair of headphones. Then a $5K streamer, $5K upscaler, $3K Reclocker. Then the $1K per meter cables, power conditioners, etc. :merchant:

Fast, cheap, reliable. You can have two out of the three, but never all three. This leads me to believe your 5k 1000hp engine will spend more time in the shop than on the road

WHEN YOU PUSHING AN ENGINE THAT FAR IT WILL COST MONEY TO KEEP IT UP. IT'S ALL IN THE GAME.

800HP STOCK VS. 800HP BUILT IS THE COST TO MAINTAIN.

Many car people? How many car people are you talking?

A lot of those cheaper cars are still modded and it costs money to mod. That's great they're happy with them lil things, but I need some rumble and torque, it's all straight roads over here

If you want to keep day dreaming:yeshrug:

'Many people'. We aren't talking about people, we're talking about car enthusiasts. A lot of those cheaper cars are still modded and it costs money to mod. And I don't know a lot of dudes happy with those for years and years.

If you want to keep day dreaming:yeshrug:
Breh I'm talking about car enthusiasts, and you're still proving the point. Your car enthusiasm sounds more about the money than the cars themselves and that's fine, you ain't gotta justify it to us :hubie:.

If you're fine day dreaming about cars and working on your Miata, that's great, nothing wrong with that. But I prefer buying and building a 1970 Chevy Chevelle SS over watching YouTube videos.

Or building a replica 1985 Mercedes AMG Hammer:wow:

Not it's not. You can be into old school and new school. Old cars are expensive too and will empty your wallet. Most cars cost money to maintain whether it's for show, track, or cruising. You sound like an old head complaining about all the new technology and how new cars aren't real cars

You can't stunt in a Dodge Breh:dahell:. Not even a Hellcat. You can only stunt in foreign. And car dudes stunt all the time:pachaha:
:patrice:Ion know OP. I just found my NEW dream car, a 69 Dodge Charger with a full Hell Cat swap, and I would stunt like a mug in it. :yeshrug:

I know the price tag for that shyt :scust:, but I am a gear head anyways, and I know I ain't getting that shyt No time soon. :manny:

Breh I got an M4 and am waiting for the right R32 to shown up on the market until 2025 when S15s are legal to import. I'm happy with where I'm at :manny:
