Being an audiophile is up there too. Buying a $10K dac to go with your $15K tube headphone amp to go with your $5K pair of headphones. Then a $5K streamer, $5K upscaler, $3K Reclocker. Then the $1K per meter cables, power conditioners, etc.

Hell yea, home theater for me. Drop $2,700 on an Onkyo top level Dolby Atmos 7.1.4 network avr, another couple grand on 11 speakers plus a sub, gotta have atleast a 65" screen in the top tier level tv's and then a 4K uhd player. Then add in cables, wires, and mounts. You already know everything start adding up, but it sound when they mix the surround audio right on the blu-ray.

Best bet is probably going to be a GTS or GTS-T because the R34 GT-Rs are going to be a bytch to get your hands on. I've prematurely given up the dream on those.

I owned one for 6 years. They're a fukking pleasure to drive

Sold it a few months back because it was starting to get too old and running into too many problems, especially with electrics.

The only major fault on them, and this only cropped up 10-12 years after they were produced, is in the ignition system. They're notorious for misfires causes by ignition coil failures, and that's a $1000 job you're looking at every few years. But other than that the engines run great for their age

I’d be retired if it wasn’t for cars. What other large hobby expenses can you really have?

Imported cars that weren't sold in the US (or had a US equivalent) must be 25 years or older. I think Mercedes lobbied for that law back in the 80s or some shyt.
