Thats what i got from the yard, a 6.0 from a Denali..

But I'd be damed if I get a junkyard motor, without freshening up the internals.. shyt may start knocking after a month..
That's the right way to do it especially if you can do the work yourself or have a mechanic friend that will hook you up. That alone saves thousands vs buying a crate motor and paying a shop

Why legal in 2024 though????
That'll be 25 years since it was released. There's a ban on imports that don't meet certain regulations that won't make them legal for the average person until the car is 25 years old. It's pretty dumb cause they only do it cause they know people will buy them over U.S made ones.

I understand being into classic cars. I could never be one of those ppl who need to have the newest shyt. That would get old (and expensive) very quickly.

I don't understand what you mean. I'm not one of those people that needs to have the newest model.

replace guitars with audio and that's me :sadbron: at least gardening's a cheap hobby, brehs
I'd love to have a R34 one day. They become legal in 2024 if I remember right.

But even if I had the money for it, finding a seller willing to depart with one would still be pretty hard :francis:

I love challengers and the R35, but this my favorite car hands down :wow:
good luck my breh, these are already near impossible to find. brehs have been buying them up and warehousing them in japan while getting their papers straight so they can import them the day the embargo ends.

can you imagine if some shyt like this happens to that first batch of r34s :russ:

THE WOAT HOBBY IS COIN/STAMP COLLECTING. YOU CAN'T SHOW THAT shyt TO NOBODY BUT OTHER COLLECTORS.

MY FAVORITE HOBBY IS DIY CRAFTS. BUILDING STUFF IS EXTREMELY RELAXING AND REWARDING TO ME.

Those stamp collectors make good money. When I worked in a hotel, stamp collectors had trading/selling conventions where people were making $25K over the weekend.

:unimpressed: I hope I dont lose my shyt and shoot one of you speed demons one day.
Some of y'all have no regard for human life with the way you speed in busy streets.

I am a huge car fan and I refuse to buy anything new to avoid the dummy tax. I usually buy a car for $1200-$3k fix it up myself then sell it for a hefty profit 6 months down the road. My best flip was a $500 bmw z3 I sold for $5500 after an engine swap from a guy that ended up giving me the swap car engine for free because he couldn’t pick it up from a storage lot :mjlol:

I think over the last 10 years I’ve made at least $50k off flipping cars for fun. I could get bigger profits if I wanted to but I don’t chase any cars only the ones I want to drive for a while mainly Vw/Audi and bmw.
Just got a 07 q7 for my growing family for $4k, the window sticker says some dumbass in NY paid $75k in today’s money for it brand new :russ:

I plan on putting on some wheels, grill, a Audi TT steering wheel, and a new mmi screen then selling it for probably $7k once we upgrade the wife to a model X
