Being realistic doesn't mean you hate women

I actually understand where OP is coming from to some extent. Personally, maybe because all the fights I used to get into back in the day, when it comes to action movies (and sometimes video games) my mind subtly asks one question when it comes to action genres: "Can I kick the main character's ass?" If the answer is no, then I don't have much issue accepting what I'm seeing. If the answer is yes, then what I'm seeing becomes harder and harder for me to get into. Sure, I can accept that I'm not fighting the fukker in the film or game and instead it is someone else but hot damn, unless the enemy is worm, I'm having issues. If I have to start jeulzing my own brain, then it's probably not meant for me. This is why I didn't post in that thread. If people like it, ok. But it still looks kinda stupid. Now I feel stupid for devoting this many words to that stupid looking movie.

Breh, NONE of the Predator movies are "realistic". In the previous one a skinny-ass Japanese breh went up against one with nothing but a sword, you think THAT's okay but a crossbow ain't?

Either you believe Predator is an honorable hunter who nerfs himself to match the level of his competition....or you just plain suspend disbelief. There is no where were, "A middle-aged cop with a pistol is good enough to take down advanced alien technology 100s of years beyond human imagination on a super-predator being" but a female Indian warrior with a crossbow is suddenly crossing the line.

Think of it this way. If you drop Danny Glover and his pistol into the middle of the American wilderness in 1700, is ol girl taking him out or not? She shoots him before he even knows she's there.






Bow and arrows were fine when Hawkeye was using them to defeat alien hordes rapid-fire.


Anyone who thinks any of these movies were ever realistic is

Hawkeye so far as we can tell has invincibility in all circumstances beyond self-sacrifice and a magic infinite quiver that constantly produces as many arrows of whatever kinds he needs at all times, so clearly Hawkeye wins.

Hawkeye vs. any member of the Fast and Furious cast is the greater question.
