Most of the answers in here seem to be that married people are miserable, but it depends on who you ask. Marriage has it's benefits, all I know are happily married couples but seeing my mother and father's marriage fall apart I would've thought ain't no such thing as a happy marriage.

Stay single.
You may complain about the loneliness...but at least you have options.
And there are many things you can do to alleviate the loneliness.
Once you're married...you're dead.
You're legally, financially and torturously bound to the person.
You lose your freedom, your money, your time, your health, your fitness, your friends, your family, your possessions, your life-goals, sex...everything!!
Even if you try to leave, you get into a pseudo "Debtors Jail" where they take your possessions and finances and force you to try to live on a meager portion of your earnings...while giving the rest of your stolen earnings to the other person. And god forbid you had a kid or kids with the person, you can look forward to that 1/2 of your earnings being split down to 1/3 to pay child support. So now you're left taking home 1/3rd of what you once did and expected to pay bills, rent, gas and whatever else....and survive.
(I wouldn't be surprised if these fukkers started trying to collect on people that died after getting a divorce...putting corpses in jail and shyt)

all of my married friends are some of the most tormented and miserable people i know. no matter where i go in the world the married men give me this look... like a mixture of hatred envy sadness and longing. thought it was some gay shyt at first, until one of my married homies had a meltdown about how terrible married life is and how good i have it, shyt tore my soul apart seeing my boy like that, when he was having his meltdown he gave me the same look and everything was clear. ive never met a happily married man. not once.

I think about all the shyt I did before I got married and all the places I went, the things I saw, the people I met, the things I did...I did 10x more in those years than I've done in the years I've been married.
