Only if they choose it to be. People can always create community and mentor. There's a new movement of older people forming their own living communities. Then there's opportunities to be a big brother/sister, even foster parent. You can still form an ad hoc family full of love. No one has to be sitting alone with cats unless they've purposefully chosen that or pushed people away.

yeah especially wya in the south . i live in a smaller city , i honestly dont know too many nikkas my age (27) without a couple babymommas and kids ... shyt my dad (56) even got a son thats now 3 , him and my mom has 0 grandchildren .

A lot of people die alone even with kids. My uncle passed not too long ago, hardly any of his kids came to see him in hospital

My path is different because based on where I was mentally, if I didn't have my daughter at that time then I probably wouldn't be here today
She gave me the reason to change my path
But outside of those types of situations..

If you can wait.. I would encourage all men to avoid that shyt until at least their mid-late 30s
After they're born, You never stop worrying about them lil mofos for the rest of your days
And being married is cool.. until it's not
And some couples can't navigate through those rough periods but it's alot harder when you're younger
