I went to a mostly all black/hispanic college, we had a lot of minorities in the class, but a lot of them dropped out halfway.
A lot of kids I started out the semester with, didn't last the whole way. They thought the classes were too hard.

I attended a pwi and often i would be the only Black male in my classes. There were always a handful of black woman but often i would just be the lone black male of the class. I didnt care i was eating . The black female ration to male had to be 10 to 1. Overall the school was 70% female to 30% male.
