Problem is its hard to find another job in record time, and they know that.
Best thing to do is document everything they try to pull on you, they've tried numerous times to fire me on some bs (nothing work related or work performance related). I got wrote up cause "I do my job but don't talk to anyone" made a complaint with the EEOC with my documentation and never got fukked with again

So much truth in this, or he could just go to HR and file a complaint and then a week later ask for the documentation because "you need to seek advice outside of the company in order to protect yourself legally." I was going to get laid off of my job 3 weeks ago, but I was called a racist, derogatory name, went to HR, they didn't do anything, came back a week later asking for documentation, I'm still work, collecting a check, being left alone, and the manager walks past me looking like
