Black folks who think they're exceptional bc they like anime...these people don't seem to realize uhhhh there are Black anime lovers everywhere, in every hood.
Or Black folks who think they've transcended race bc they listen to diverse styles of music... not accounting for the fact that Black people have always consumed and created a diversity of music.
Black people with tales of alienation growing up - never does it occur to them maybe it wasn't due to your style of dress, or your interest in science, maybe you were an outcast bc you're just wack as fuk?
They intentionally block out the diversity of the Black experience and cling to a narrative of Blackness that allows them othered status.
I think the way they position themselves is bogus.
