Beli not calling the time out inadvertently the reason why Carroll made that dumb ass call. Carroll admitted that he was EXPECTING the Beli to call the time out to stop the clock, then realized he's wasn't going to do it which put Carroll in a paradox as to what exactly he should do. Being that he only have one time out left and time ticking away and three more tries to punch the ball in the end zone, Carroll was afraid to waste HIS last time out, but at the same time want to drain the clock as much as possible. But if he let Lynch punch it in too early, it would give Brady some little time to at least get it to field goal range, because even with 25 SECONDS they still had TWO TIME OUTS and Carroll knows that is possible being that they themselves went up the field for a TD before the half with just 10 seconds more. Yet, if he drain some clock, waste a down and time out, he would be in danger of running out the clock IF Lynch just so happens not to make it, and he was 2nd guessing the defensive match-ups.

I dunno Beli INTENTIONALLY tried to outsmarted Carroll in a game of who would blink 1st, but Carroll blinked and over-thought what he was going to do... all because of Beli NOT taking the time out.

No timeout needed, they knew Seattle was running that pick play when they ran 3 receivers on. Revis and Malcolm both said they knew what it was.
