…one thing I’ll add is the director shouldn’t have said anything and just not hired her or provided another reason for why she wasn’t casted assuming her story is true…a 10 year old can definitely behave inappropriately in that manner…I’ve seen male students that age behave inappropriately toward female teachers and definitely seen female students that age behave inappropriately toward male teachers…the difference is as a male teacher you have to be EXTREMELY careful how you decide to correct that behavior and present it to the parent bcuz NO ONE wants to hear an accusation like that about their daughter even if it’s true

Our culture is weird.

We acknowledge that girls mature faster than boys physiologically and often intellectually but it never occurs to us that young girls can "want" men.

Obviously it's the grown man's responsibility to redirect the child away from such bullshyt.....but that doesn't mean her feelings go away. She likes what she likes

I don't know anything about this broad, haven't watched the video or anything.

But I was in 4th and 5th grade in America, I'm pretty sure by that time anywhere in the world you've probably held hands, or wanted to hold hands, or played chase on the playground, or slid a note, thought someone was cute or told someone they were....shyt for those who identify with being gay, they probably either accepted it or thought it was weird that they felt that way.

She either saw her parents share affection, or probably saw it on tv...and not even in a grotesque or negative way, but an appropriate manner.

By age 10? Where would anyone in the world be that wouldn't be able to acknowledge what flirting is? Even if they couldn't define the word, but acknowledge the behavior.

It's def a weird thing for her to come out and say, especially the way that she is saying it, but the sadder and more glaring issue is, that she was obviously being molested and shyt at such a young age, because that has to be learned behavior. I don't think anybody should be dunking on her, in this case, because like, how the fukk is somebody that has been through so much shyt, at such a young age supposed to act? How is she supposed to process this shyt? Props to the director for not acting like a ghoul in this instance, but knowing that this type of shyt goes down in the industry that you work in, couldnt be me
