In truth from what I read the Ice Cream maker is still going to sell in Isreal under a different name but its rare for any company today to even try to stand up to the Isreali Devils like this. They even tweeted BDS which is crazy.
They did it on the day of eid which also pretty fantastic.

I think the idea is that the only people buying ice cream in the OT are the "settlers"

I have no idea why they would continue to sell in the rest of Israel, though, as if those people don't overwhelmingly support the concentration camps.

The parent company of Ben and Jerrys is Unilever who are actually against this decision. B and J dont care. Which is why they have to sell under a different name. Unilever some bytches.
