Shouldn't need to be said...

Won with a great defense...

Won with a horrid defense...

Won with a great running game...

Won with a damn near non existent running game...

Won with no name receivers...

When he did get a gawd tier receiver the offense almost broke football and it took an act of god to keep them from going undefeated

As far as QB's go...it's Brady and Montana...depending on when you grew up...nobody else has the combination of stats and hardware to match them...

If I'm having the all time nfl draft...I legit might take Brady number 1 overall...it just does not seem to matter what the system is or what the scheme is or who the players are around him...dude just keeps...fukking...winning...
As Phins fan that despise Brady and the Patriots I whole heartedly agree

I don't like the patriots or brady very much either...but no one can deny the guy has won multiple titles putting up ridiculous numbers in every type of system/scheme possible with any type of personnel you toss out there with him...

You can make an argument to put him over Montana who did almost all his work in the west coast offense...you'd have to make a whole other thread to breakdown all the types of offenses brady has played in and excelled at

Play in the weakest defensive era in football with every advantage possible for offenses and still be forced to eke out every single SB win by 3 points by cheating, luck, the worst goal line play call ever, and get called the GOAT QB.

Tom Brady in any other era would have been holding Steve DeBerg's clipboard...who was holding everyone else's clipboard.

I always find it funny how people down play the pats as a team to hold brady on this high platter. Hehas always had a solid line his whole career and a solid team. To top it off he has been with the goat coach his whole career. If youre gonna make arguments about his greatness, please dont try to down play these facts.

Yes it has. Several times in fact. Anyone that knows football can clearly see this. You gonna act like the offense Pats ran in 2001 is the same they ran in 2004 with Deion Branch as the leading receiver which is the same as 2007 Randy Moss years which is the same as 2011 two TE heavy sets?

Of course the shyt changes. It changes every year. U act like he had to learn all these new different offenses. He aint doing anything more special then other qbs who been with a team 5 plus years. This is what im talking about. Yall reach over the dumbest shyt to put him on this platter

pats offensive system changed multiple times, thats a fact. Im a Niners fan who has Joe over brady so I clearly dont five a shyt about putting him on a platter or whatever your agenda is.

just football-wise, what you said isnt true. yes, he had to learn different offenses. everyone on offense has to learn new offenses when new OC comes in. a lot of shyt might be similar in basics, but have different terminologies, different playcalling hierarchy, different timing, emphasis on different concepts, different degree of autonomy for qb, etc.

this isnt just applicable to brady btw, pretty much any offensive player will have shytload of stuff to learn when a new offensive system is installed. but again, pats went from running base pro run-heavy with weis using mostly erhardt-perkins (same shyt parcells used) to weis' own variation of erhardt-perkins and then to heavy spread under mcdaniels

has it been easier for Brady because his coach understands his strengths and weaknesses well ? of course. but Beli is a defensive coach first and foremost. hell, Beli might be the first defensive coach every whos given such a ton of credit for offense :heh:

You're so pitiful. You do this shyt all the time and just get laughed at. Offenses are more complex than they were back then and so are defenses. Compare people to what they did relative to their era. Brady still is at worst the second best QB of all time. "Cheating" is just some dumb shyt you throw out there but you don't actually even believe that shyt which is why you always point to some debunked shyt. How does it feel to say the same thing over and over and be ignored? Go get a life.

Both Brady and Ben are products of the rules change that happened after 2003. Funny thing is it was Belichick's defense that made Brady better after the rules change. Bill Polian and the colts cried because the patriots db's were being too physical with their receivers. They thought the new rules would benefit Peyton, but it benefitted Brady the most.

Back in the day db's were allowed to be way more physical with receivers. Defenses were allowed to really punish qb's and basically try and hurt them. Qb's nowadays are way more protected, and db's can barely touch receivers.

Imagine if Montana, Elway, Marino, Young, Aikman etc. were allowed to play under these rules. :wow: Especially west coast offense teams. In order to beat wc offense you had to disrupt the timing by basically holding the receivers. Montana would have a field day in todays league. Plus teams wouldn't be able to hit him like they used to in the 80's.
