Don't think I agree with this tbh, if he's 100% cleared by February I think he should get some of his rookie reps in
I still think it hurt Droses comeback that he waited out that entire season. He just had so much fukking rust to shake after that extended layoff
Then you look at a guy like PG13, or MJ back in his 2nd season. They came back from fractures, got some late season reps in and were 100% ready to go the following season with minimal rust

Agreed. Like I said in the other thread I think that he's letting his people talk for him and make his decisions, but from a basketball standpoint it doesn't make sense. As a player you should want to be on the court and build relationships with your team so you can get better. From the moment he declared he's been handled like he's above the team. He didn't even give teams workouts.

No worries....we will let Embiid get some minutes and get his conditioning back, let Saric develop into a solid starter, be the worst team in the league again, draft number 1 again, and try again next year. We used to it at this point

Sucks for young Ben and the Sixers and hopefully this is just a freak injury and not the start of a cursed career for Simmons. Since he isnt a typical big man and cause he hasnt had any major injuries before i believe that he will bounce back and be as good as ever when he finally does make his NBA debut which hopefully will be sooner than later.
