19pts 12reb 5 ast 56fg% is struggling??

I can tell you've never watch his game he would easily put up if he was in the league right.

You just dont get it man.. its not about his average stats.. its the eye-test.. he doesnt have it.

-cant shoot
-average athleticism
-no killer instinct
-no go to move
-no offensive skill set
-average defender.

he's Overrated, he was built as the next LeBron, but he's nowhere near it.. Michael Beasley had more upside.

:mjlol: you're saying this about a 19 year old, man what has this world come to?

how you gon say he has no offensive skill set when he's got the quickest first step and best ball handling of any big man since Lamar he literally gets to the rack at ease.

and keep knocking on his killer instinct like Ingram not out here deferring to Allen, and Hield not taking the last shot because he can't create their own shot.

I have seen him play i am under the impression playing at Lsu hinders his devlopment as a player.

This kid would be much more well rounded playing at kentucky or kansas since there are other great players to learn from and bring that fire out of him . They uave hall of fame coaches to teach and guide whereas at lsu that coach is clueless.

I saw that in the game against oklahoma where not once did the ball touch simmons hands in the last two minutes. Thats on the coach. Dude is the best player yet he dont touch the ball. That right there showed me lsu aint ready for primetime and simmons just biding his time until the nba calls

He will be fine on the lakers. They have the resource to get this kid what he need including the retired black mamba

1st Round Playoff Exits
:stopitslime:
Defer is always understood as the final shot, not the final pass. That's always been the criticism.

Simmons looks weak in crunch time and says he wants to play PG, not SG, SF, or PF. Point Guard at 6'10".

I think Brandon Ingram is the prospect to build your franchise around over Simmons:yeshrug:
Magic was a 6'9 point guard

You obviously haven't watched many, if any Duke games. Ingram doesn't defer to Allen, he just can't shoot it every time. They run iso sets the entire game for Ingram. :heh: What are you talking about bruh? Ingram absolutely carries the team....Do some of yall watch more than just yall teams? I still think Simmons is the better prospect, but over the last month or so Ingram has been better, against better competition.

Edit: Ain't no way this nikka playing PG in the league. Who in the league can he stay in front off? How he gonna check Steph/Kyrie/Wall/Westbrrok. shyt.....how he gonna check Kemba? SF/PF, and maybe some 5 on a small ball team. Thinking about it, he could be a serious problem as a 5 on a small ball team. His ball skills are:banderas: besides the jumper, which you can develop in the league.

I haven't seen too many of his games, only 2, bui think he is overrated. He can handle the ball, he doesn't have a handle - there's a difference, so no G in the NBA at all. And his J is atrociousVery few players develope a jumper in the league, in fact most players lose it. AS for him being 19, if they stop saying that these players a further along than their elders at that age, and stop saying these players are ready when they aren't, they would be catching their deserved critiques.
