This just paints an even bigger target on his back, which probably isn't the best thing, given the 76ers inevitable playoff exit is going to be largely centered around his lack of scoring/shooting. Here's hoping for his own sake he can change that perception in the postseason, because if he doesn't.....

Perception is everything.

Unless Ben busts out a 30-piece every other game in the playoffs, then folks are gonna be pointing the finger at him for not delivering, regardless, if they're right or wrong. And when that happens, this statement of his is going to be flipped onto him, where it'll be "but at the end of the day, you gotta make shots too".
