You know I've defended Simmons a lot over the years but this is really the culmination of everything his detractors have been saying about him since he was at LSU. Ultimately they were right about him.

The Rockets changed over night when Tillman brought the team on loan from the previous owner. Before the pandemic even started he came out and basically refused to renew any contracts of essential staff. He started an ageist campaign against the coach then didn’t even offer him a contract. Darryl Morey talked shyt about China who since Yao Ming make the Rockets a lot of money from China including their stars who often have signature sneakers (Harden). COVID came and cost him more money fired Morey but still was trying to use him for free. Decided to blow up the team playing literal G-league guys. Realized Morey wanted Harden in Philly but then decided to not trade him there
