It's my thought process in that Philly should take the best package available for Simmons and then combine them with their current assets to get the player that Morey actually wants. I really think that Philly is waiting until a team starts poorly at the beginning of the season and desperate kicks in to save jobs to get what they're looking for.

Even someone like Dame will be singing a different tune if injuries kick in and the team starts out poorly in spite of what he said. Dude was throwing shots and bytching all season long about potentially wanting out after they got washed in the first round again.

They'd have to move them in the offseason and essentially be putting the season in the process, which they'd be doing anyways once they traded Simmons. They'll be a worse team in the regular season without him. Granted, I don't think that they'd be beating a team like Milwaukee anyways whether Simmons is on the team or not.

A lot of this could have been avoided had 1. Simmons actually tried to shoot and 2. They actually went through with the Lowry trade that they were wanting to do last season.

I watched the game. I get all that but That particular play I believe he was trying to score but lost control of the ball. Saw a defender coming passed to the open man. Yeah he should went up but imo that play is over blown

He spent five games not shooting at all. That tells you he wasn't looking to score.
