They'd have to move them in the offseason and essentially be putting the season in the process, which they'd be doing anyways once they traded Simmons. They'll be a worse team in the regular season without him. Granted, I don't think that they'd be beating a team like Milwaukee anyways whether Simmons is on the team or not.

A lot of this could have been avoided had 1. Simmons actually tried to shoot and 2. They actually went through with the Lowry trade that they were wanting to do last season.
I actually agree with all that but want to add fire Doc Rivers to it. They seem way to comfortable for a team that has been backsliding fast two years straight. In 2019 they seemed locked to be in the ECF going forward and now that seems like a stretch. Hinkie and another round of the process would have had them looking a lot better now.

He’s just being a bytch. The security dude didn’t put you in a Harden deal.

You can always tell the measure of a person by how they treat the so called ordinary service staff.
I don't get it. Obviously both sides heading for a divorce. Why not play ball that will help you get out of Philly faster.
Also question. Does cj for Ben trade happen straight up. Or does Portland ask for a pick.

That's on the league though for stepping in and getting Hinkie out of the paint. I don't even really like blaming Doc and Morey for what's transpired seeing as Simmons has been a problem even before they came into the fold. I feel like a lot of this is that he's been treated with kid gloves his entire NBA career prior as this situation should have nipped in the bud years ago instead of still being a topic of discussion now.

I find the whole thing weird as all they're asking him to do is try and he's making a bigger deal and more than it has to be. Just try and if you can't do it, then that's fine. He wouldn't be the only player in the league that has a broken jumper or free throw form, but at least they try.

He is just going to have to realize that he's going to be expected to start shooting no matter where he gets traded to and it's going to continue to follow his career until he does it. If he doesn't, then we'll be having this same exact discussion again later on with a new team.

First part of the statement is what my pops always told me growing up. It’s one of the main things I peep about people.

Shams said in the article they have no interest in moving him still.

Security guard was one of the many people that were talking shyt about him. Don’t pop shyt then when you see me, act like everything is cool like “what’s up buddy :gladbron:“ then go crying like a bytch when I :unimpressed: right by you.
That’s hoe shyt. These weak ass Philly fans and staff can’t even stand on their views. Double talking, backtracking and everything. fukk ‘em. :yeshrug:

I agree, as a Sixers fan

Media just milking this shyt at this point

If it was Kobe or MJ, ignoring security guards would be a sign of his killer instinct lol

I still think the best deal Morey could pull is Hield, Haliburton, and one or two pick swaps

:yeshrug:

You’re not getting star value so make the team better. Kings come up talent wise even though the fit isn’t ideal.
:hubie:
They can’t even get Haliburton. It’s Hield or CJ McCollum. Morey couldn’t have fukked this up more.

The floor is spaced out with Harden and KD. He can attack the basket, get rebounds, assist and focus more on lock down defense letting them handle the majority of the scoring load. Similar to Dray with Steph and Klay.

dray is ok with his role, Simmons you think it going to be content with playing like draymon green?

Draymond will still shoot... and I haven’t checked, but I’d assume he’s a better FT shooter. Also, after all this, I’d be positive Ben won’t ever be the same mentally. He’s already shown he’s weak there, and this whole spectacle definitely won’t help build his psyche
