Ingram is the better prospect and should be #1 already.

Simmons can't shoot and is SCARED TO DEATH to take jump shots. They just pack the paint against him and it's a wrap. He's useless in the halfcourt.

Not to mention Ingram has better physical tools and is over a year younger

if Brandon Ingram has a strong tournament and comes into the scouting combine a little heavier I really think he can leap frog Ben Simmons and become the #1 pick.

Who else do you brehs think can stand to make themselves move up a few sports or drop a few spots in the tournament?

Man....This is throwback for real. But Brandon Ingram seems like he has eclipsed Ben Simmons....Or is it just due to his usage?

I clearly underestimate how hard it is to develop a jumpshot for some players :francis:

Derrick Rose seems to have figured it out though so there’s still hope :yeshrug:
That's the problem for a lot of folks on this board.

They just seem to think that a player will eventually develop one, when if you haven't come into the league with one, or the makings of one, chances are you'll never be able to. We're seeing it right now with Zion, and muh'fukkas using the excuse of it only being his second season, when we've heard that excuse all too often for players who don't ever end up having one. Now, that's not to say Zion won't ever will, but history is against him.

Thing with other bad shooters is they are at least getting reps and trying. This guy refuses to do them in game, all the practice won’t matter if you don’t do them in game situations. This year is the perfect opportunity with no fans, but this man just doesn’t want to do it. Not sure what you can do with that

Have some dignity :hhh:

Even Zion has attempted 3’s, isn’t scared to take them & from what I’ve seen can actually progress into a good outside shooter .

That’s why I was kinda against knicks drafting RJ and preferred cam reddish/Herro

What can Benamin do that BI can't?

Run the offense - check
Defend multiple positions - check
Post up - check
Drive to the basket - check
Play off the ball - check

the diff is BI is a 3-level scorer and is comfortable taking over at the end of the game...and you can run an offense through him for 4 qtrs

Regular season you can maybe make a USG argument considering how much defensive value Ben brings
But in the playoffs I'm taking BI no questions asked, and that's what matters most.
