I'm still really optimistic because he's been wide open a decent amount this year and Mahomes just hasn't been able to hit him on those plays. I remember Rice starting really slow last year too before going off so I'm holding out hope.

Rice had a lot more promise as a receiver just off YAC alone before he got featured, plus he played the role that the offense was needing, running Kelce routes that Pat is used to. X is a Desean Jackson type optimistically, but they keep tryna put him in a Tyreek type role, especially with the contested balls. I’m not out on him for his career, but I’m out on him being a featured receiver this yr.

He got screwed over with the two receivers over him going out which accelerated his involvement, and he’s not ready for it yet imo
