My family originated in the south and a lot of them still live there and are doing fine. ALL of them. None of them call me crying about how oppressed they are at any time. From North Carolina all the way to Los Angeles in numerous states across the South. Trust me. You cannot advise me on sh*t.

the people truly getting fukked with this increased cost of living are the middle class

don’t qualify for services or low income housing, wages ain’t really going up like that. basically in a state of barely making ends meet, having to work more hours to make ends meet, can’t really save because of the cost of everything going up in cost so they have no social mobility as the rich get richer and build wealth for their kids, creating much more inequality that will be difficult to overcome.
