The whooping certainly could, but it's an immediate punishment that lasts only a few minutes at best.
Are you absolutely certain about this? :jbhmmm:

Some children might harbor a grudge against their parents that grows with every beating. Some might not.

Some might take heed from this haircut and get their act together, some might actually be affected as you say.

My point is this: not all children are wired the same and this armchair philosophy about adolescent discipline on the internet from people without kids needs to stop.

Breh, it was the second day of school and I was in the fifth grade. She gave me the most fukkED UP LINE UP ever... just pushed my shyt WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY back. I cried that whole night, but yeah, I had to go to school and get that work from those bratty ass kids.

No whooping could do what that fukked up haircut did. :wow:

When these people actually have children, it's going to be extremely hilarious how quickly that Wikipedia entry will be forgotten once that kid acts up for the last time.
Yup. People with no kids always have the best solutions for discipline, until they have kids.

You don't need kids to know how the human mind works or to draw from your own experience as a former child considering we weren't born adults.

You don't need kids to understand all the anti-bullying campaigns and what might happen if you consciously put your child in a situation where they'll be bullied every single day until their hair grows back, and the resentment that might cause them to have towards their parent, just a few posts up is an example of someone saying how this kid would have been roasted to no end if he'd been in the same school, and in this age of social media, he'd never live it down because kids would take pictures that last forever and pass them around, let's not pretend like we can't pull up multiple stories of children committing suicide for bullying.

:why:

man growing up...some neighborhoods roasted cats for dirty kicks, others got laced for dressing bummy...

but us?

us nikka? a fukked up cut was unforgivable in our eyes. it was something you just didnt do like sticking a fork in a electrical socket or playing with a book of matches in the living room. if you your lineup or fade wasn't together...you either wore a hat or you just took your lashes like a g. some dudes couldnt take it. they either cried or started scrappin because it was too much to bear. lol.

i swear if that kid came to my school...he wouldnt have made it outta homeroom. :pachaha:

Man, this isn't judging someone's culinary skills or analyzing a sport. We're talking about a living, breathing person that may or may not fall in line with whatever you've read online.

You're essentially saying, "you don't need kids to understand them".

Good luck with that man, seriously.
