Lebron as a rookie was also the leading scorer on his team unlike Simmons.

Lebron as a rookie also played with mostly a bunch of scrubs on the Cavs that couldn't help inflate his stat line with easy buckets, rebounds or assists like Simmons has due to having a current All Star in Embid & a better overall roster than LeBron had in 2003.

Also, I see that you're conveniently not comparing Simmons horrific FT% & nearly non-existent 3pt% as a current rookie vs Lebron 2003-2004 rookie season either.

Lebron Rookie:
FT% - .754
3pt% - .290

Ben Rookie:
FT% - .563 (3rd worst FT% in the NBA among active players & worst FT% among all current PG's)

3pt% - .000 (Be a NBA point guard who can't shoot a 3 pointer)

:mjlol: :lolbron: :russ: :francis:

I thought Lonzo was under 50%

Remember when cats was saying he would bust because Sorry ass LSU couldnt make the tournament?

Lebron rookie: 21pts 6 reb 5.5 assists 41%fg
Ben rookie: 16pts 8reb 8 assists 55%fg

Dude is a straight Monster. Posting up slightly better rookie stats than the local favorite Lebron.

This league now belongs to him. Book it now he wont go 3-8 in NBA finals
I was with you but you lost me at the bolded. Numbers look nice but many players before him have looked nice in the boxscore and didnt get to capitalize on championships.

Again, the kid is nice but calm down

Well it also says "& worst among all current PGs" so it looks like you are including active and inactive :yeshrug: but I hear you

Ben Rookie:
FT% - .563 (3rd worst FT% in the NBA among active players & worst FT% among all current PG's)

Per ESPN Free Throw Percentage Leaders - Qualified, Lonzo Ball's FT% stats are excluded/not listed, therefore based on the data, "current" would be an accurate description.

You one of the most hatin ass nikkas I've ever seen :dead:
How is playing with good rebounders gonna inflate your rebounding totals? :mjlol:
Easy buckets argument is reaching hard af :camby:
Talk about having guys who can help Ben get assists all you want, Bron only has 1 season in his entire career(this year) in which he's got a better amount of assists per 100 possessions than Simmons is putting up right now as a rookie :umad:
Lonzo's not even at 50%FT, but I guess we're just gonna run with that lie that Simmons is the worst? :sas2: or what, we're saying he's not current cause Zo's been livin on the injury list and doesn't even get to the line often enough to be qualified among league leaders? :francis:
Be an NBA point guard who can't shoot a 3 pointer yet still be tied for 11th in the NBA in VORP and 16th in the NBA in RPM Wins while being the orchestrator for a 50 win team in your rookie season :whew:
Dominating without the ability to shoot just shows his upside. Any developments or progress whatsoever in his shooting makes humongous strides in his game. Just become a 70%FT shooter capable of consistently hitting a 15 footer takes him to yet another level.
We should also not ignore how Simmons is consistently improving throughout the year. Averaging a triple double in 31mpg over his last 16, averaging double digit assists in 32mpg over his last 26 since we added Belinelli. A:TO has been well over 3 over that span :blessed:

I'm not gonna say the kid will surpass LeBron or anything like that, and I think stylistically he should be compared to Magic instead, but yall really got some issues with how deep rooted yall hatred is for this kid
