israel has a parliamentary system with a lot of different parties. so i dont think people dont directly vote for bibi, they vote for likud which is his party and the largest in the governing coalition.
that being said he is fairly popular, approval ratings usually around 50-58 percent i think. he was much less popular in the 90s when he was PM the first time but israel has become much more racist and conservative since then. especially the youth
