I guess I was the only person that was hyped for this movie :skip:

I really enjoyed it, but this was a weird choice for an MMA story to turn into a biopic. Personally, I love the documentary. But it’s something that only the most diehard of MMA fans are familiar with. Making a movie on such a niche story was destined to flop.

I'm extra harsh on this as it's nothing more than an re-enactment of the already excellent documentary, it's just such as cheap angle to take

You just know some people were thinking of this dude

when they heard the name and were extra confused about the idea of The Rock playing him. :skip:

I kind of liked this movie but it was all over the place and it felt inconsistent. Kerr's personal issues are a major theme of the movie but it glosses over them and moves on to something else every scene. The way the movie ended is whatever, I have no idea why they made a movie about this guy other than The Rock wanting to play an pre modern MMA fighter who is racially ambiguous.

The girlfriend played by Emily Blunt was terribly written and every time she popped up I kept thinking of that Field Mob track.. Literally only showed up in the scenes to fukk up whatever positive mood/vibe Kerr was in..:mjlol:
