its good, didn't really love it the way I expected to on first listen off the leak.
don't know if its just the leak but Benny sounds too on top of the beats in the mix and some of the beats could sound fuller.

they let Ross ramble like hell. not mad at it though.
Sly Green crazy..so was One Way Flight then Freddie Gibbs started rapping.

didn't care for the beat(s) on the first song or how they flipped the sample on Famous.

I'll come back when I've ran it back a few times when its on streaming.

This shyt really makes me wish I could hear Benny over actual Just Blaze and Bink beats. That would be great. :damn:

Over The Limit reminds me of some shyt that would've been on Philadelphia Freeway. :wow:

I'm not gonna listen again until tomorrow and don't want to burn out discussion when it ain't even out yet. But on one listen I feel similar.


You didn't like Gibbs verse? :picard: I had no issues with it. And I dug the flip on Famous, but it's just such a dope sample that I think it's hard to fukk it up. :wow:

Re: the bolded. That's the main thing that bugged me. :patrice:There's a lot of joints that sound hard but sound like the bassline isn't loud enough. I thought it might be my headphones or the leak. Like, it doesn't sound on purpose (like a lot of old DJ Premier beats or newer Alchemist beats that do this on purpose as a style.) It sounds like there's a baseline meant to sound louder but it just doesn't. I'm gonna chalk it up to my headphones or the leak until tomorrow. :hubie:

But I like the Rocafella sound and I like Benny, so I can't imagine this not growing on me with more listens.
