IDK...they really didn't care about that stuff until that incident. They were going to drive Angle to his early death if not for eddy and Chris. It was because of them they saw the possible psychosis and self damaging behavior and substance abuse that they parties ways (though angle's story is quite different of course)

Deep down all these guys are probably a little fukked up mentally. Imagine having to do this shyt for 200 plus days a year night after night not so much these new cats cause they have it easier. In Benoit's case not excusing what he did losing Eddie is what finally broke him. I think Eddie was his shoulder to lean on and once he no longer had him to depend on he went crazy.
