The mainstream media would be all over this story, so I don't think a name change would serve any purpose.

The only way WWE could use this dude would be to come clean, and push him as a sympathetic innocent babyface who wants to restore the family name.

Extreme longshot that he ever makes it anyway, but if he somehow does, they'll have to acknowledge who he is.

There's nothing wrong with him wanting to pursue wrestling if that's what he's passionate about but the Benoit name is practically cursed. WWE mostly likely wouldn't touch him with a 10 ft pole and that's unfortunate because he shouldn't be held responsible for what his father did but people will only look at the name and not the young man attached to it.
