Comes across as Benzino realizing Slim Anus isn't going to respond and that his 15 minutes of fame are running out

The one thing I’ll say is there’s this persistent misconception that “using ghostwriters” = “needing ghostwriters”…which leads to the notion a rapper reciting rhymes written by someone else is due to an innate lacking from the recipient….i don’t think that’s always the case…. In this situation i could very well envision a scenario where Em took a verse or two from Royce essentially as damn near a gift to Royce…Em’s obviously one of the more talented rhymers ever, but can he also LITERALLY spit gibberish on a track and have it do numbers (Encore speaks to that)….getting Royce some easy writing credits for a check could be Em’s way of looking out

Having said that, you almost have to treat ghostwriter allegations like street dudes do snitching allegations…you shouldn’t jump out the window with it without “paperwork”…Benzino gotta show receipts or shut up about it

I've always wondered if there is a royce John blaze freestyle out there with similar lines. Never could find one

It's getting a bit pathetic for Zino. He dropped his dis, it was well received. Now he's all over the place as usual. Trying to keep it in the news cycle. Wants to battle Em in a televised event and then squash it, but also wants to keep dropping disses and is now running with a "well he gets help too, see?" angle lol

He should drop a project and see if people actually care about him when he isn't dissing the most loved/hated rapper of all time

I don't doubt Em and Royce have traded bars, they rap very similarly now. Difference is, Benzino was not flowing and spitting multis until this recent dis :pachaha:

Relapse was around the time Slaughterhouse was a thing. I am convinced that Royce still held Em down, hence why Relapse felt like old Em and everything afterwards was a decline of Em.

Listen to Relapse vs Recovery and you will see the huge difference in flow and style.

Relapse was Eminem learning how to make songs again and write coherent verses after the overdose and getting clean. He was writing songs faster than he could record them, and Paul Rosenberg knew Eminem was back when he recorded "Underground" because it sounded like he was back at the Hip Hop Shop. A lot of that album was Eminem experimenting with different flows, bending words to make them rhyme, and using accents that became thicker and less distinguishable. Plus, it was a horrorcore album.

Recovery sounds like that because Eminem was inspired by Lil Wayne to start using punchlines and wordplay, and I'm pretty sure his tinnitus was starting to get worse because he's yelling all over that album. Relapse was all Dre, Recovery was a bunch of different producers and the idea was to make a bigger, more mainstream album. They wanted to reach more people with Recovery and make Eminem a star again.
