Let's. I'd need to see the breakdown of Progressive Dems vs Establishment Dems and what the vote count was for each race. However, I agree that Progressives are still energizing the base and pushing Progressive ideas into the party. So even if Progressives lose all of their remaining races, the base is still going to expect Dems to push Progressives ideas. If the Dems don't deliver, then Progressives will replace them. The Progressive base is growing to the point that that eventuality will come sooner than later.

The problem is the framing of the argument. The base is shifting left but Bernie is too inflammatory and attacks his supposed allies and doesn’t do enough to corral his supporters who don’t understand how important the Democratic Party is.
