Most nikkas...especially the country Bible thumping ones in the South are going for the Clinton name and his "blackness". I don't think sanders can magically change congress' mind on things. I doubt he can even build a movement that can flip congress in 4 years let alone a few months. I just don't think the poll you're referring too is still accurate. Around that same time socialism was veiled overall negatively within the Democratic Party, since then socialism favorability has gone up like 30% there. I think you'd see a substantial change in the other poll as well.
And saying the Clintons have ties to the black community isn't saying bill played sax on Arsenio. Thats a gross simplification of the points myself and others have laid out.
