Bernie Sanders travels with Americans going to Canada to get cheaper insulin

U.S. presidential candidate Bernie Sanders travelled to Windsor, Ont. this Sunday with a group of Americans to obtain cheaper, affordable insulin, slamming the “greed” of American pharmaceutical companies.

Outside of a Canadian pharmacy, he held up a tiny bottle.

“Here’s the bottom line: this is a vial of insulin,” he said. “In the United States, depending on where you live, it’ll cost 350 to 400 bucks. Here in Canada, it will cost 35 or 40 bucks. One tenth the price, made by exactly the same manufacturer.”

Sanders stood next to a mother who said she spends roughly US$1,500 a month for insulin for her son. But in Windsor, she paid US$1,000 for a six-month supply.

I'm not a huge Bernie fan, but reparations will never pass through both houses of Congress much less get signed off on by a president.

It's a great talking point for YouTubers, news prognosticators, activists, and militants though.

We are not getting our 40 acres and a mule figuratively speaking.

Betting on criminal justice reform and this high azz college tuition getting capped off is a much safer bet than reparations.

Vermont is probably the most liberal state in the nation. Black people or any other people for the most part don't live there but at the same time, they VOTE and support almost all liberal policies, especially those for minorities. It is also a state that BANNED corporate franchises not based in the state.

In vermont, you can't find a single fast food chain period. Outlawed.

I plan on voting for Bernie. Even though he isn't a supporter of reparations, I believe a progressive presidency will be a good segway into the argument for reparations.
Also, there are a number of issues that supercede reparations for ADOS. Climate change and preventing this country's decent toward fascism. I know many of you wont like this but what good are reparations on a dying planet or an authoritarian corporatocracy fascist state.
