They don't give a shyt about protectionism against China or tarriffs, remember he has corporate CEO's on his team. They don't wanna stop that. They just want to bully the Chinese on military grounds and smash on Iran. They feel more threatened by expanding Chinese power than they care about your average worker or trade deficits

Singapore does not have conservative right wing fiscal policies. They have a Central Provident Fund, Community Development Council, Housing and Development Board (82% of Singaporeans live in Public Housing) and many other "socialist" programs that they knew were significant to maintain the high economic growth in the country.

Singapore is the worst example to use for right wing policies, they do have lenient economic policies but their whole social system is based on making it affordable for the country as a whole.

That was the problem I had.

People act like they had only two real choices when they actually had several.

I can respect a conservative who voted for Trump in the main election but didn't vote for him in the primaries, but I have no respect for those who voted Trump in the primaries and general election and acted like they had no choice.

I know that sounds like a rant, and it is. Personal experience.
