someone wants to run on it, i'd vote for emthe problem i see is that it's a logistical nightmare at this point. proving and verifying ancestry while getting a government bureaucracy in the mix who then decides what amount is paid and where the money comes from? i think you and i are on the same page when it comes to government efficiency

That's the biggest issue, IMO. That alone will take millions of dollars. And knowing the US Gov't, they'd try to take it out of the reparation funds.
I would study how the Native Americans handle it. But off the top, if you are of AADoS descent, then you get the same check everyone else does. Equal cuts across the board.
If gov't efficiency is what is gonna hold this back, then the US might as well stop debating or passing bills and close up shop.
i cant honestly sit here and say that i see reparations happening where individuals prove their ancestry and collect individual checks in 2018 and beyond. thats just never gonna happen. i mean shyt, it would leave a ton of people out in the cold who couldn't prove their ancestry but actually deserved it
my two cents would be if a lump sum was created, and some kind of elected body (by black people, not democrats or something
