Rubio misses a shyt ton of votes but he's pretty active in terms of introducing/cosponsoring bills and has decent marks regarding bipartisan bills

Well your definition of not doing anything is subjective. Passing legislation just for the sake of seeming bi-partisan doesn't make a good politician or good laws. The problem with democrats is that they get bullied by the republicans into passing shoddy legislation in order to look like they aren't obstructionists. Just look at Obamacare, which was created by the heritage foundation. Or Dodd-frank, which has a ton of loopholes.

Maybe if the dems in general obstructed more, they'd be as popular as sanders.
