Aside from Medicaid expansion, one of the most popular aspects of Obamacare (which the GOP likes but won't say out loud) is the community health center funding and expansion that occurred with the ACA... Bernie was very instrumental in that.
Hillary was doing this in the 90s.

And she wasn't even in the US Senate.

Stop the bullshyt.

He's putting in real work at the grassroots level and for once he's got Americans believing in REAL healthcare instead of this privatized bullshyt.
You see this Puerto Rico bill?

It won't pass.

So why is he pushing it?:patrice:

He has done this his whole career :lupe:

So at some point you have to accept that he's just using his performative progressivism to grand-stand on issues while never getting anything concrete in place.

Bernie keeps acting like he's not a US Senator or that he's helpless or that he has no experience.

He's been in Congress 30 years. In public office for 40 years.

What gives? Wheres all this effort?

We can't get Change from stale speeches.

Incrementalism is a terrible political strategy that has been a complete disaster for the American people. Obamacare is a perfect example. Dems argued that it was a step in the right direction, but as we are seeing now, the republicans are defunding it and trying to strip it of its most important components (I.e. Covering pre existing conditions). One step ahead usually results in two steps back with the dems.

FDR, arguably the most popular politician in American history, ranmed through most of our most influential social policies today. He didn't give a rats ass about the opposing party.

The dems need to go back to that style of governing. Unfortunately, the corporations have both sides in their back pocket.
Whats "terrible" is getting nothing done.

The amendment king is some Post Hoc bullshyt invented to make him sound productive.

Fact is, he never led any policy. he never was known for inventing policy.

All he did was cling on to other people's bills at the last minute.

You're acting as if that makes him some greater congressman. It just means in 30 years he hasn't figure out how to get anything done.

Fam, click the link and read the article. The amendment king title came well before the Hillary hit pieces.

In 2005, Rolling Stone named Sanders the "amendment king" of the House. At the time, the title held true with a specific qualification: amendments agreed to by record votes. (Amendments can also be passed with voice votes, in which the volume of yeas and nays dictates passage, or by unanimous consent, in which no one raises an objection.)

We're way past anything related to Russia being a ruse or an MSM driven story at this point so just tuck that one right away and never pull it out again.

I'm not going to argue with you because it seems as though you're personally invested, but the American people don't care about Russia-gate. The polls prove this.
