i am mindful of what you said about his age, but if the other option gonna be the same age as him anyway (trump in the GE/biden in the primary etc.).... i don't see what there is to lose considering bernie has never displayed to me that he's not all there in the head still because of his advanced age or something.

It also seems that he wrote a bunch of racist newsletters in the 80s and 90s, and claimed it was staff. But how do you go that long without noticing?

He tries to sell himself as nonpartisan but last year at the height of the liberal vs alt right tensions he criticized "both sides" but guess which side he criticized with more energy
