I'd like to see how Kam would do with black folks honestly. The resume is nice but the skeletons regarding her marraige...well, look how people talk about Halle.

The people about Trump (and rightfully so), and then vote for Kam are exposing themselves as unserious about preventing someone like Trump from getting to office again.

If the Dems don't choose Warren or someone like her, Trump can win. Race, economics, all these issues matter together in a vacuum, because people are humans and have more then one binary need. Someone needs to present actually solutions to the problems the US faces, not "I'm not donald trump." Being not racist and sexist is actually easy. Fixing our problems is the issue.

Black people aren't really the issue, any Democrat (including Kamala) is going to get 90% or more of the black vote, especially against someone like Trump. The issue is who else she'd get.

As bad as it probably sounds I don't want the Dems to run a black candidate in 2020 just because the idea of having another black president would mobilize bigoted Trump supporters.

Look at it this way. Bernie could get a lifetime appointment.

:manny:

I do wish he was less soft spoken about Russia and the corruption going on.

I also don’t see him as a unifying figure which is what the left needs.

Unlike a lot of progressives on this site I don’t think the country could survive eight years of Trump and then eights years of Pence.

I dont think there's any chance this dude actually gets on the Democratic ticket. He would have a better chance going independent....either way he damages the chances of a liberal/progressive winning.

This article is stupid click bait, at best

You’re right it is click bait and if he doesn’t want to bring people together it will hurt this country even more. It’s like some people didn’t see the big picture.

A lot of bad policies being implemented, solid rational policies being rolled back, terrible appointments made by this administration will personally effect the typical American negatively for decades to come because Trump was allowed into office.

I hope rational people will say enough is enough before it’s too late.

Best idea might be to put a more mainstream Dem on the main ticket and then have a progressive as VP (or vice versa).

I don't really have an issue with Bernie (in fact I voted for him in the primaries) but it's really, really not the time right now for that BernieorBust nonsense.

The right black canadidate can. That wasn't Jesse Jackson, and it's not someone married to a white person either imo.

So instead of focusing on tax reform that affects all americans and the removal of many deductions and programs that will negatively harm americans. or her opposition to the republican led health care repeal you're focusing on something that affects less than 1 percent of the population?

yeaaaa....
