At this point a Big Baby/JJ Reddikk trade doesn't look bad Boozer is horrible and it's not even reactionary because he was trash in the playoffs last yr he doesn't play d, puts up empty stats, and is :flabbynsick:

that seems like our best bet. dwight obviously has the iron fist in orlando he got big baby down there, good chance he can get boozer down there

big baby is not as skilled as boozer but he will put a better effort out there and we can have him come off the bench, start taj.

reddikk gives us another shooter

its probably the best we can get for booz

You have to watch him extensively to understand why he's on an absolutely terrible deal.

He feasts off of missed FT rebounds. I've seen games where he's grabbed like 3 to 5 uncontested rebounds off of missed FTs by the opposing team. He actually makes a real concerted effort to grab these, just to inflate his numbers.

Too many times, I've seen him score 10 points early in the game, to finish it with like 15 total. His defense usually keeps him on the bench in the 4th. So the numbers he puts up are usually when the game just starts and the other team isn't clamping down and locked in like most teams are late in games.

He has NO lift. It's sad really. Dude misses layups all the time. And don't get me started on his patented charge right into a nikka and get called for the offensive foul move that he's perfected.

Only way you can say that Boozer plays well, or has played up to his contract is by not watching that team play much. No other way around it.

AND... I'm omitting the fact that he's the WOAT defensive player in the history of the NBA

:ooh:

I think Taj and Big Baby would be more affective than Boozer's empty stats because no matter which of them starts there gonna come out with energy and play hard and play defense. Big Baby's d is nowhere near Taj but he plays with energy and is still better than Boozer.

Also I agree Reddikk about Reddikk when Rose is healthy he has another shooter may even work out like how he played with Hinrich his rookie year.

The biggest problem I have with Boozer is hes a momentum killer. The team will be flowing then here comes Boozer getting the ball slapped out of his hands by a guy half his size in the post. Then he will let out a yell and trot up the court.

I thought it was :duck: too.....but he REALLY said it

For the second consecutive year, Boozer simply couldn't fill that role. To put it in perspective, Boozer sat on the bench for a combined 30 minutes and 31 seconds between Game 5 against Miami last season in the Eastern Conference finals and Game 6 against the Sixers Thursday night.

"I thought I played well, especially with the kind of season it was," Boozer said, when asked to assess his second season in Chicago. "We had the best record again in basketball, won our division again, had the top seed again, that's all that matters, yo."

I remember Chi fans thinking they was going to the finals when they signed Boozer. Utah always wins when it comes to letting guys past their prime walk. He can't be traded either.
